Who isn’t ready for something to celebrate? Dr. Raed Younes and the You Make Me Smile Dental Clinic team invite you to their 20th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, October 2, 2021.

It will be a charity event and all donations or proceeds from this day will go towards the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation. Other donations will also be made to local organizations such as the Trenton Military Family Resource Center (MFRC), the Children’s Foundation, Three Oaks, Hospice Quinte and the retirement community.

Wherever you live, you can take part in the festivities at the You Make Me Smile location in Trenton community for free live music, food, hot beverages, and prizes.

You Make Me Smile will give away multiple big participation prizes!

In the spirit of giving back, participants can also purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win a gift basket filled with local products (Riverbrake Cafe gift card, a free teeth whitening, charcuterie boards from the Grind and Vine, a gift basket from Artizen Cafe and more!). All proceeds go to the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation.

Mix 97, Rock 107, CJBQ radio broadcasts will be featuring the event live and famous local musician Andy Forgie will be there for live music from 11:15 am until 1:45 pm.

Burger Revolution food truck will be on the site to serve food (11 am-2 pm) and hot beverages and sweet treats will be offered by Artizen Cafe (10 am – 2 pm).

The Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation will organize games and the You Make Me Smile team will offer tours for people who would like to visit the beautiful practice and learn more about their state-of-the-art technology.

Festivities start at 10 am outside the You Make Me Smile location in Trenton at 96 Division Street.

Communications Director Rachel Fortin says the event celebrates the clinic’s history of giving back.

“Dr. Younes and his team have a positive reputation locally, especially because of all the charity events and many donations,” said Fortin. “What better way to celebrate than to hold an event that continues that tradition?”

The event is free to attend. Hope to see you there!

From Humble Beginnings

Dr. Younes started the clinic from its Trenton location in 2001. After many renovations and an expansion to the Trenton building, You Make Me Smile opened the Belleville location in 2018. Some patients from those early days are still with You Make Me Smile today.

From the start, Dr. Younes and the You Make Me Smile dental clinic have focused on providing assistance and resources for the communities they serve.

“The most important thing for us is the health and wellness of our community as well as our patients,” said Fortin. “Our team loves to give back to the community.”

The clinic has provided sponsorships, held free dental service events for the community (Dentistry from the Heart), and gave generous donations to many local organizations throughout its 20-year history.

Dr. Younes and the You Make Me Smile team are taking all precautions related to preventing Covid-19, and they are following all local, provincial, and federal guidelines in planning this event.
